Taste of Philly 2009 in Philadelphia
The Taste of Philly event was created in 2007. The event was such a huge hit that it has now become one of the best and most anticipated culinary events in Philadelphia. We expect 2009 to be even bigger and better!
Last year’s Taste of Philly event took place at the Franklin Institute and sold out to over 1,000 guests! Approximately 50 of the city’s restaurants provided samples of their signature drinks and dishes to guests during the event. Entertainment was provided by ArcheDream for HumanKind, a non-profit organization that uses performances to empower and inspire the less fortunate communities around the world. Guests were wowed by this amazing group and the Taste of Philly event raised over $12,000 for the charity!
This year, we expect approximately 1200 guests to attend the event. Tickets will be sold for $30 and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to ArcheDream for HumanKind.
You may purchase your tickets HERE or you may stop by the Philadelphia Weekly office located on 15th & Sansom, Third Floor (above Roy's Restaurant). Tickets are available at the office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
